Municipal Infrastructure Solutions Program

Municipal Infrastructure Solutions Program

Municipal infrastructure issues are complex, impacting more than ever on livability, prosperity and sustainability within our communities. Municipalities must deal with competing demands, different community interests, and limited resources on a daily basis.

Finding the right answers demands collaboration, prioritization and partnership. CSA, through its Municipal Infrastructure Solutions Program (MISP), is addressing the needs of municipal practitioners and other stakeholders to identify gaps and accelerate implementation of modern infrastructure practices into our communities. CSA's proven processes for achieving consensus ensure that MISP products and solutions balance the shared and sometimes competing interests of stakeholders, helping create a better, more sustainable future.

MISP is focusing on developing and delivering practical, pragmatic and proven tools in the form of new standards, best-practice guides and training courses. The program fosters the development of skills and management practices that assist practitioners in dealing with the complex issues associated with building and maintaining sustainable municipal infrastructure.
