CAN/CSA-ISO 14001-2004 Environmental Management Systems – Requirements with guidance for use
This updated “keystone” standard of the ISO 14000 series specifies requirements for an organization’s environmental management system and has been revised to:
- Clarify the requirements of the 1st. edition;
- Make it more compatible with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
A clause by clause summary of the key changes is included in PLUS 14000 (see below).
The CSA Technical Committee on Environmental Management Systems has prepared a brief summary of the most significant differences between ISO 14001:1996 and ISO 14001:2004.
